For our September “Akhal-Teke of the Month”, we are recognizing a special horse who has endured and continues to fight the odds. He was our only nomination of the month, but he certainly is a deserving one.
“Rozkruszek has not only typical akhal teke look, but he is also a descendant of Murgab, Gazanch, Palvan, Gulistan, Absent. In his life he experienced many traumas. He has a chipped piece of hip bone. At 4yo he injured his eye, which due to a medical error he had a leak. During this time he has very patient and the administration of medications was possible even without a halter! Also develop stomach ulcers during this treatment. According to the decision of another doctor, Rozkruszek should be given a year off from work. When we were getting on the horse it was strangely stressed so we started looking for the cause in the disease. It turned out that he has an open inguinal canal (he was ridgling), a bone spavin and kissing spines. So many traumas gathered in one gently horse deserve an award.”
