I had a few inquiries for examples of Akhal-Teke Warmblood crosses, from people interested in breeding warmblood mares to Akhal-Teke stallions. And one of the horses that often comes to mind is this beautiful and versatile Akhal-Teke cross mare, so I thought I would share.
Gyzyl Godiva, sired by Akhal-Teke stallion Gidasp out of a Russian Trakehner mare. Owned by Eron Owens of Greystone Equestrian Center in Indiana.
Godiva has been building a nice athletic career, particularly in cross country where I first saw her in action. She really is a golden powerhouse in person.
