Innovative Agroecology Project with Akhal-Tekes

Dedes, a private agroecology project in Hungary, has given a very unique home to the rare Akhal-Teke horse. Their horses are part of their innovative management mission to implement regenerative and nature-renewing grazing practices.

“The goal of holistic planning is to integrate horses into the landscape, creating a model of regenerative practice. By using year-round grazing, the stud farm is fully adapted to the seasonal cycles of vegetation. The program places great emphasis on accelerated pasture changes and woody and tall grass systems that meet the needs of the horses. Their education is based on stress-free, collaborative training.” - Dedes.hu
